With the frame and the bracing completed it was time for the inspection. Fortunately the inspection went well and was successful. The inspector was particularly interested in the roof construction; he hadn't seen a conventional roof construction for many years as most buildings now use roof trusses. He was also impressed with the general quality of workmanship and construction methods.
The photos show some angles of the roof construction and tie down bracing. Other photos are of general interest particularly the delivery of the sheet roofing. The entry to the property is via a rather long driveway. The driver of the semi trailer which delivered the roofing thought he could manage the steep drive which he did very well until it was time to reverse out. Unfortunately he became stuck in the gully which ultimately required two more truck to pull him out.
Bad weather is still an ongoing issue. It will hold up getting the roof on for another week.
